When you are interrupted by calls....

With a lot of people having cellular phones these days, it is not impossible anymore that you get interrupted by a phone call or a text message when doing whatever it is you need to do. Like when you are eating or sleeping late at night, there would be a text message or a phone call. Thinking that it is something really important, you go look at your cellular phone. What is you rule when answering calls/text messages if you are eating, sleeping or simply spending time with your family?

Maybe, but who knows right. I guess that's what we get for having this "modern" technologies in our era.

i always answer my phone if its someone from my contacts list, because otherwise i just dont pick it up for anyone else. and occasionally i answer text messages from my contacts, but not when im doing something important or when im sleeping. i hate it when people call me when im sleeping, like at 11 at night a friend calls me and tells me their sorry they didnt know i was sleeping.... come on. With text messages, only if its something important, or just if i feel like it, lol; when someone texts me something random because their bored or something, i dont bother texting back... unless im utterly bored as well..

When I am eating, I can answer phone calls. When I'm about to go to sleep, I make sure my phone is on silent or 1 beep mode. When I'm spending time with my family, I barely answer calls or texts. Same with my husband.

My phone is always ready and I will answer it everytime someone is calling me. However, if it is only a text message, I ignore it sometimes and check it when I am done doing things.

I'm not bothered by it at all. If it's not a good time for me, I just ignore it. My phone is there for MY emergency use and MY convenience, not everyone else's. When I'm not using my phone, it's usually shut-off and I turn it on when I need it. Happy MyLotting!

No rule, just answer it. If you could not guarantee that you won't interrupted other's business, you have no right to express tough response to others. Don't be angry at it, imagine that when you call others, they are eating or sleeping. Maybe you will feel better.
