The advantages might be living in a foreign country for the duration of the course, meeting new friends of many different nationalities and experiencing a different culture. I think some international students enjoy a better climate. The disadvantages might be high course fees and sometimes having difficulty with a language like an accent that is unfamiliar. The international student might be far from home and miss their family members. They wouldn't have local knowledge. When I was at university in Wales I went to the Netherlands for four months. I shared a house with some other international students. I went to English Literature classes with post graduate students and had Dutch lessons. I developed an interest in cycling and it made me physically fit. I had the geographical advantage of being in mainland Europe and I traveled as far as Luxembourg, Germany and Belgium. Studying abroad is memorable. Studying in Australia would be great.

I always like to study abroad. Advantages that I can think of: 1) You'll get to learn from different education system. You'll definitely benefit from it, as it's something new for you to learn. 2) You'll learn the different culture in different country. This is really interesting, you do not only learning their culture, but also their lifestyles, the ways they are doing things. Some are really different from your own country. 3) You'll learn to be more independent. Since you are staying in another country, you will need to learn how to take care of yourself, how to handle things, etc. You'll definitely learn a lot. As for the disadvantages, perhaps you'll feel homesick as you don't get to go home very often. At the beginning, maybe you'll feel lonely as you haven't make any new friends yet. But, once you step out to make new friends, I guess these disadvantages will be gone soon. ^_^

Some advantages I see is learning to be independent, meeting new friends, learning different cultures and being exposed to different people and their way of life. Of course disadvantage is being away from your won family, living on your own, having no emotional support and working for money to spend.

I used to plan to study abroad,I think the most important is you have that experience, this experience is not only for your job hunting but also for yourself.I mean you can make your life more different.Beside the benefit of going abord there is also some disadvatage, for example, can you bear the life without your family? And they are geting old,you are the only child of them, how they feel if you donot at their side?
