I am not a fan of reality tv I must admit but from the few I have watched I think theres a script that they follow and as such shouldnt be called reality tv.I say this because ,I noticed a common thread among all reality tv shows one , the drama, two the characters and three the lush apartments where most of these reality shows take place. These reality tv shows have too much drama no body's life can be filled with so much drama and conflict.I admit there will be times when your life is filled with drama but the average persons life is not filled with so much drama. The characters in these reality always follow a pattern ,there is the drama queen ,the cryer and the big brother or sister who solves all their problems Finally I doubt that everyone lives in a lush apartment in a nice neighbourhood .Most of us live outside this scenario. Show me a reality show that goes against these stereotypes and Ill show you a reality show.

I am against the whole concept of reality TV. TV is supposed to be an ESCAPE from reality! I've heard a lot of accusations that many of the "reality" shows are scripted, including Survivor.

It is scripted. If it were actually real then it would be impossible for the fcc to keep up with all the things they try to keep out of television. And most of it would be very boring. All reality television is staged. Even the mtv real world. I watched a behind the scenes thing about it, and the castmates were saying they were told what to say, where to go, and what to do.
