I been writing for almost 4 yrs and the more I write the harder it is. What really influence my writings are my mood and feelings which has their limits. I just wonder what makes a great writer. Is it their knowledge or imagination? What makes great writers publish so many pages of books and still have enough to write so much?

I have been writing all my life, but I have been a paid writer for less than a year. Now I am writing mainly to publishers assignments and to contest titles, so I don't need to think of a subject, I just have to research it. I also write on my two blogs, but each of them has its own theme so I stay with those topics. I have written nearly 4000 discussion posts at myLot this. I have posted on a wide range of topics, but I do respond more to discussions about things of which I have personal experience or knowledge.

Yea, money can be a huge motivation to write too. If only it was that easy to write without being paid then maybe I would love it.but im not gonna lie I wouldn't mind being paid for everything I write since I love writing so getting paid wouldn't be hard.

i mostly look at my surroundings and let it inspire me to think of ideas. i chat with different people everywhere and get ideas from them, depending on their needs. i just do my own market research for ideas, read a lot for fun, watch tv, observe my surroundings, etc, and see what comes up.

I've been writing more personal stories, since I was in high school. I don't think I've really run out of ideas. I think it is more dependent on my moods. I find that I write a lot more if I'm feeling low. Personally, I think that what makes a great writer is their imagination. Writers can always do research if needed, but knowledge isn't a necessarily skill. If they have a great imagination, an individual can become a great writer with little knowledge.

I never run out of things to write. But, I am not a "professional" writer. I have never gotten paid even though I have been told that I am pretty good. I do get writer's block sometimes, but after taking a break from it all, I am right back to writing! There is so much TO write about, that I doubt that anyone would ever run out of things to write about! :)

i have been writing since i was in high school.. but recently i ran out of things to write about... my writings are dependent on how i feel.. i want to write again but im too busy with work.. for me, feelings really play a great deal when writing and a very nice view too..

actually i think that literature is dependent on ur imagination the more u imagine the more u make out of it and when u get credit for that u automatically try to do more and more to get some more credit so writing is ssomething that depends on ur thinking and ur own styles when u enhance them u wont run out of stories and u can write more and more ..
