Pregnancy

I am six months pregnant and it is getting to be a very painful thing. I mean I don't know if that is normal or not. I have a hard time sitting down or standing up because my back hurts so bad. I feel like my ribcage is slowly breaking. There are times I can't sleep because I am in mass amounts of pain no matter how I lay. I get nausea no matter what I eat, even from a meal consisting of crackers and water. Is this normal? Does everyones pregnancy get this bad? I mean pre-pregnancy and even early on, everyone was telling me how great it was. Is that just so I wouldn't freak out about all the pain to follow? Am I just an unlucky pregnancy? Or might there be something wrong?

Its nothing abnormal. I didn't myself carry like that, but my sister is seven months and seems to be having the same problems. One thing that could be causing the pain is the baby already being low towards the birth canal and the low back pain maybe the head is facing forward and causing pressure on your back. The nausea is probly from heartburn. Drink milk and take antacids. Don't consider yourself unlucky. Its a blessing to be able to carry a life inside of you and to bring it into this world. So enjoy your pregnancy even though the effects from it make you want to be miserable. I hope things go well for you in the last trimester.

Milk and antacids don't help. In fact antacids induce it for me. But I am indeed making the best of this that I can. I have a husband who waits on me hand and foot when I don't feel well and I know that I am lucky for that. And my friends come and check on me often when he is at work to make sure there is nothing I need. I know that it is a blessing, but I am not going to lie, once the baby is actually born I will enjoy motherhood much more. :)
