Family History of Breast Cancer more Important Than Test

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27768827/ apparently since a lot of people are getting tested for the breast cancer gene and some show they dont have it they think they are in the clear but they are not!! so family history if you have one riddled with breast cancer is more likely an indicator than whether or not you have the gene

the tests are always important, they have saved many women from dying by early diagnosis, family history is another indicator but it is not the only one, there are people that have it in the family and do not get it, there are people who never had in the family and get it. you need to watch for both of these things it is not one or the other and you need your tests.

its talking about the genetics test for the cancer genes.. a lot of people are predestined to have cancer because they have the gene but a lot of people get cancer with out the gene so they have had problems with people going and getting the test and seeing no risk and thinking they should never have a mammogram or anything because they dont think its a possibility..
