That's very easy, really the best ways that I say it is through gazing in the eyes while holding hands and of course the occasional cuddling and hugging. You can pretty much feel the difference between a friendly hug and a love hug. You just know its there. I'm not really into saying something else instead just to minimize the impact of rejection.
