Wow, sounds nice, I'd love to learn Chinese! Is the The Chinese language the root of all languages in that sector? It's this correct? What other languages are related to it? Chi means energy, is that right? You managed to learn English quite good! Two thumbs up from me :D Best regards, Octavian

English is not so easy, too many irregularities that you have to memorize. Spanish is probably easier. Probably one of the reasons Chinese would be hard is the alphabet is so different. I've also heard that there are tonal things in the spoken language (like if you say something in a higher tone of voice it has a different meaning than in a lower tone of voice). Don't know whether that it Mandarin or Cantonese or what, though.

PS I'd be happy to help you with English when I have the time. Don't really feel inclined to try and learn Chinese right now though.

I want to learn chinese... but what chinese?... Mandarin, Fookien... i agree that chinese is a difficult language to learn... so many characters to memorize... unlike in english where there are only 26 alphabets... If you are serious with this offer send me a pm so that we can work out a schedule... i am not a native english speaker... i hope that is alright with you...

I came to know that in Chinese there are over 1,000 alphabets. You can tell us that is it correct? If so, then in my opinion it will be very hard to learn Chinese.

Hi rowe0525, What a good idea, but I think Chinese is harder then English, to write your letters, you got to be an artist, it looks so difficult. Tamara
