Do you prefer the ocassional big things or the frequent little things ?

Which do you appreciate more ,the occasional grandeur on your birthday ,valentines or christmas or the little things that people do for you each day.Would you rather a big expensive splash on valentines day or a little message everyday costing one dollar on your cell phone.What does the big splash on valentines day tell you ,you are remembered on valentines but what about the other three sixty four days ?.Dinner and candlelight on valentines but cant get a sandwhich when you come home from work tired and frustrated?

Hi.
Moments that are meant to be celebrated should be celebrated. If you do take care of your loved ones 364 days and don't do something special on anniversaries or days like valentine then that too is not right. Each and every day is special when you are in love with someone and when a special day comes you should celebrate it.
Having said that if you have to pick the better of the two things you mentioned I'll go for the "smaller things".

I don't know.
A few years back when I was the last one to wish her on her birthday, the consequences of that incident were hard to face. She won't talk to me for anything and that's only on wishing late, I even don't want to imagine what would happen if I completely forget all these "important" days.
But then not taking care of your loved ones can't be forgiven either.
Its hard to pick something here.
I'll better look after both the things.
As I really love her and dates are not a problem for me, I'll manage.
