are you scolded to use too much internet

whenever i sit on the computer and use internet i have to almost every time have to face scolding from my parents.
these days its been so much difficult for me to sit on a computer and spend a hour on it,actually my exams are just 5 days ahead, so its my bad only to still sit on the computers,but i can't remain without surfing the net.
so whats your experience,do you get full freedom to use computer and net for no matter what time or you too get scolded by parents and have to adopt some methods to sit on the computer

jz they dn like i sit on the computer till midnite ...
they think sleepin is more important .. hehe ..
erm , if i hav exam i will control myself ..

That's because you spent too much time using the computer and neglected your studies? Well, I think parents do concern about the kids' studies a lot, and they hope you can get good grades in school.
As for myself, I haven't been scolded by my parents for using too much internet as I started to use Internet when I was in college. I stayed outside during college time, so they have no chance to see me stick to the computer day and night. Also, I was studying Computer Science, they might think I was just studying or doing research.

They never scolded me using the computer and surfing the net everyday but they do inquire why I'm always on the computer and I tell them assignments or some important matters. I don't have the problem using the computer as it is in my room. Maybe try to explain to your parents or tech them how to use the internet for them to see how important the internet and computer is.
