What is the meaning of love to you?How do you express it?

People talk of love all the time.What does it mean to you.For me love is the greatest need of man,so its the greatest service to man.
Love is compassion,understanding and forgiveness.When there is love in your heart,you can see beauty in everything.
Love gives you the ability to forgive.The measure by which we forgive is the true measure of our love.
Love is being kind to others,
love is knowing when to count your blessings
love is never getting enough of that wonderful stuff
love is the answer.....

Love is not always materialistic
its nice and soft feeling developed inside u for ur God, for ur fellow human being and for creatures around U
Make u soft and Humble
make u so careful that u r happy in their happiness
love is unconditional
love is with no hope or expectation in return
love is just giving and giving
love never seek for rewards
love is not biased
love is not discrimatary
love make u one of finest person
i really cant express it well and define it, but sure its blessing on face of earth and its only forcves which is keeping world moving

other thing, i am really not a poet and never been into poetry, in poetry i have just read few and sure as sylabus, LOL
Well, its what i belive that if u r in Love or if love is in ur heart, then u cant be harsh, love makes one polite and humble and careing.

Hi Rose,
I liked your definition on Love. But can we find out the same feeling in the way you defined it. People are busy and have no time for showing their love. Parents are busy and can't provide enough time for their kids to show the love. Adults are busy with their own career and do not have time for their old parents. But it does not mean that they do not love their parents. I think all are living according the circumstances and when they realised the value of love, they may be too late to express it.
For me, I think I am expressing my love towards my dear ones and taking care of them. At the same time I have a disadvantage also. If I felt angry to somebody I can't hide it.

Hi sree.....You have to give love to get love..Yes, as you rightly said people are soo busy,and have no time to express their love for their kith and kin,and only when they pause for a moment,and try to count their blessings,will they realise what they are missing.A small word or a small gesture to your loved ones,to show ahat I care will make a wide difference in their attitude,and will make that one moment a valuable one for you too....
And if you get angry,Sree its best to wait for a few moments till you come down before you open your mouth...........It will prevent lots of disaster.......

Yes you are right, we have to give love then only we get it back. I am happy to say one thing, it is really a good feeling to read your comments and counter comments, I really love to read it and love you too.

what more can I say.....
and if you mean getting angry is going around with a grump face is all that you can do,then I feel really sorry for you..I am a short temepered person and my anger is at the tip of my nose,its said......But I have learned to control it in real life,and overcome it in no time....But in mylot its not that easy,and when I get angry I vent it out on dear cupie......Per aab laghtahai usee aadhath padeehai....

Love for me is like what make the world go round... because if love ceases to exist... then the world will die because there will be no care and compassion for anything under the sun...
Without love... there will is nothing to live for... no purpose and meaning in life... since love is so much more in this world than what we think it is...

Hello dear......my goodness your comments actually sent a shiver down my spine.......though I had started a very positive discussion,your comments about the world without love actually made me shudder..yes dear,a loveless world is hard to phanthom.....and is even harder, nay impossible for people like you and me to live in.........so lets not dwell on it,and lets live and enjoy the world and all the love it has in store for us.....

Love is a very complex feeling that is difficult to define. It is the emotion or feeling that I have for my mother who nursed me as a child. It is what I feel for my father who would take me in his arms. Love is what I first felt for my siblings when they played with me or shared something with me. Love is what I felt for my friends in school when they shared their notes with me or shared their eatables or secrets with me. Love is the emotion I felt for the guy who first took my hand and said "I love you" Love is what I feel for those who are kind, compassionate or understanding towards me and for those who trust me.
