If i had the power to change three things in society, I would first of all change the way people disose off garbage. Like sewer lines, i would get garbage lines constructed and put a garbage shredder in each house and the shred garbage woudl be washed down the garbage line straight to the treatment plants where untouched by man all garbage woud rech and be turned into manure. The second thing i would change is the way people park their cars on roads. some people are really insensitive to other people's rights and park in such a way that you cn not remove your car until and unless they return. It reaslly irritates me. The third thing i would like to change is corruption. Free the society of corruption. No corruption will lead to a much better quality of life. What are your priority areas in society?

First of all I would change the way the economy works so I could eradicate poverty. I believe there is enough wealth in the world to ensure that everyone has a could standard of living. I think it is wrong that one person starves while another earns 13 million a year in salary. No one needs that much. I think that no salary should be about 250,000, anything else is just unnecessary and greedy. 2nd I would force the changes to clean energy technologies so that there would be renewable energy in cars and power stations. It could be done by having solar power on every house and solar power stations etc. I am not sure if it would be enough to save us from global warming and rising sea levels. It may already be too late for that but we could stop it from getting worse than it is. 3rd eradicate corruption but I am not sure that is possible as human nature is greedy and it may not be possible to change it.

I don't know about you mercuryman...I'd love it if all that you mentioned came true...but then, there can never be a world without corruption...because what you call corruption dould be favour for some and we never know when we may come under a circumstance when we would require favours. As for me, I believe that I do have the power to change the society by changing my world. I'm sure the issues you mentioned are of very high priority and I would be careful in parking my car responsibly and disposing off my waste responsibly and not to be corrupt and not to encourage corruption either. I cannot insist that others do the same as others come from different circumstances with different experiences and different perspectives altogether. Thank you very much for the post. It really made me reflect and think.
