My daughter got her first playdate invitation in Kindergarten!

I know I'm overly excited for her, as it is just an invitation for a playdate but I have to say, I'm extremely excited for her. They are very upstanding members of her school and we don't know many of them so for her to privately get invited was just a heartwarming thing for me. She is such a sweet girl and she is truely the most loving person I have ever had the privilage to meet (my daughter) so she does in my book deserve her invitation. I am just excited at the prospect of her having many friends when I myself cried everyday almost and had only one friend and then my husband. So to see my daughter warming up to people (not just warming up, but she really loves them) is just amazing to me. To think that maybe her childhood, and schoolhood will be pleasant is so much more than I could have ever hoped! Sorry for the rant, I'm just excited. Would you be excited? Have you ever been in this position before, of the first playdate from school?
