Why heart beat get faster during emotions or fear?

it's all about control of autonomic nervous system that regulates various conditions during different situations like during fear heart rate increases, mydriasis occur, and much more.......

Really? Well, as far as I thought it was all because of the adrenaline, but I think you know about this more than I did. Are you a doctor? I mean, you used like many medical term which I have never heard before ( all I can get was only the nervous stuffs, which I was really familiar with ). Thanks for the information though.

yeah adrenalin do play role. there are two system in our body in ANS: parasympathetic and sympathetic which antagonise each other and thus act on various organs in various condition and normal condition too. I think that explains your query adrenaline comes under parasymphathetic system
