You can try nursing more often, drinking more water, try Funrgreek (sp?) suppliment helps a little as long as you don't mind smelling like maple syrup. Have you tried contacting your ped usually they have someone trained in BF. Or Contacting your local LaLeche League . org If you dry up and have to go with formula there's no shame in it. It's happened to many women and just opted to do formula. GL!

Thank you I am actually taking Fenugreek now and also mother's milk tea. it does help but i drink water and the tea all the time and for some reason i just can't keep it up. This is my third and last baby so i think it's just the depression of letting go and knowing from now on i will never be able to nurse another of my babies. I also ordered Calcitin but i guess that takes 3--4 weeks to come to the house which kills me cause i hope i last that long on my own. I am losing about 2 ounces a day.

I hear ya w/ my 3rd & last baby I had a c/s & the pain meds didn't allow me to do it. My 2nd I was able to but I wasn't making enough & I had to suppliment w/ formula & then just dried up @ abt 3mo's or so that was super hard, but atleast I was able to try.
