Some online thing was billing me through my AT&T home phone! I must have filled-out a survey or something and given them my phone number because that's how they started billing me. AT&T has since put a block on my number, so this will not happen agan, but to all those out there that haven't experienced this yet, you may want to call your phone company and ask the to block your account for you. Happy MyLotting!

It sounds so dangerous to give away the phone number. Perhaps next time we need to be more careful on filling in the information, and always check our phone bills. Thanks for the information.

Those darn SCAMS! They're all over the place and I'm definitely sorry to hear about your PrincessKitten. Scam artist are getting more clever by the minute so i would suggest that you and every other person online guard their personal information thoroughly. Oftentimes, what i do in these cases is just provide a free private voicemail number so that I don't have to give out my real number. Here's a free voicemail service that you can get too, I've tried it and it works well - http://www.laservoicemail.com P.S. Speaking of SCAMS! here's another one to watch out for: http://gettingfreegas.com I paid $27 to join their service back in July of this year and haven't heard from them since. No emails, customer service, updates or Nothing! They just have a fake data base with empty promises. I reported them to the BBB, FTC and more!!! --- If you want to report a home business or internet scam and don't know where to turn, then here are some useful resources that I've compiled personally: http://tinyurl.com/67tfr7

Interesting, I have not heard of that type of scam yet. I'm glad AT&T reacted that quickly and easily to solve the problem for you. We never get that quick of a response out of them. Anyhow, thanks for the warning!
