what would you choose:Uneventful/stable life or successful but many setbacks?

I would choose a succesful life with many setbacks. I think I am too restless to live a quiet and stable life. On one hand it would be nice to live a quiet life without any major setbacks, but on the other hand I just don't have the personality to live that kind of life. My motto has always been: "Don't worry about failure, worry about the chances you miss when you don't even try" I have been through many failures, I have started projects that I believed in and I have seen them fall apart. Of course it has been painful, but I'd rather do through the pain caused by failure than the pain caused by regrets - regrets that I didn't even try.
