A recent survey shows that 42% of those questioned believe that the use of jargon at work led to misunderstanding about roles and responsibilities. Yet, 55% of the bosses surveyed believed it to be harmless and 2/3 of the workers would prefer that it not be used at work. Some examples of jargon given were "getting our ducks in a row" and "singing from the same hymn sheet". What is your view on the subject? LOL. I have one of those bosses. I don't understand what he's saying half of the time. I just nod my head and go on about my business.
