I'm stuck between purchasing the online game Left 4 Dead ($49.99) or The Orange Box ($29.99). Any opinions of what I should buy first?

I think maybe you made your post at the wrong section. Online games are much different from video games. And I know nothing about the two games you mentioned. Sorry couldn't give you any advice.
