Ethnic is Sexy

I've done a short review about Indian fashions lately and it boasted that ethnic is indeed a sexy wear. In my country, Philippines... I don't see that "ethic" is sexy because our women in fashion always portray a woman of "status" and a woman is elevated not a figure of sexiness but a figure of independent, conservative and still feminine. Though modern fashions corrupted some of these character portait in the internet, the Filipina is still viewed this way when top designers present their traditional interpretations. In ypur pwn perspective, do you think ethnic is sexy?
