I just want to ask my American friends, What can you say about Filipinos serving you as Customer Service Agents for your product concerns? We know that most of the Call Centers of US based companies were located in Southeast asia, and many of them are in the Philippines. I just want to know your feedback or please share your experiences talking with Filipino Customer Service Agents.. Good day!!!

US based companies should have thier call centers right here in the Us. Our economy is dying right now and many people need jobs. This is in no way insulting the over seas workers, many are so very nice but the fact is the work should be here at home.

I see where your coming from grammasnook. But yu see the reason the call centers are here in Asia is that, US companies are taking advantage of the cheap labor that we have here... So there, I just hope we will be able to have a win -win solution here. I know that US economy is down right now. And we are also getting a lot of help from having the call centers here... Good day!!!

Oh I totally understand it is the US worrying about that mighty dollar. I do not blame people abroad for taking the jobs offered trust me, we all have to survive. When it is the United States people spending thier hard earned money it should be the United States people that should benefit from the jobs. I am a persont that believes that our money should stay at home. I hate to stand in line and watch people sending tons of cash at western unions to other countries. I actually think this should be forbidden. I also believe there should be limits of items coming in from other companies. If they want to sell to the American people come on over, open a business and be part of the American dream. Amerian people need to stop buying cheaper products from other countries and invest in thier own country. We are more than capable of being independent and with the right person in office then perhaps the Americans, American dream can come true. To prosper and to live life as we all should. I am a person that buys as much American made items that is available to us here in the states. I go to the farm stand down the street. I do not shop at Walmart but support small shops that offer American items. Please do not take this as an insult because it is not ment to be one. I just believe Americans have to stand up for themselves in every way they are able to do so.

I totally understand your opinion grammasnook. I also patronize our own products here in the Philippines! As much as I could, I buy things locally. But of course, we can't change the fact that we need each other. Meaning, as human beings, as part of this planet, we affect each others lives even we are not from the same country or we have different roots. We must admit, we need you and you need us. Thanks and Happy Mylotting!!!

Well, as someone who works in a US call center, I'd say 'Get your hands off our clients' ;)

Woah! that's ok, some Americans that we talk to tend to be very irrate and hard to talk to because of lack of knowlegde about other countries, It's like they feel that they are not getting enough Customer Service, but in fact, Filipinos are very patient and very good when it comes to giving Customer Service. As I have said before, labor is cheap here, that is why we are getting the job opportunities and most of us that works in a call center are college graduates, degree holders, or professionals. I just don't know if it is also the same in the US. Going back to the topic, most US clients are satisfied, that is why they have their call centers here, it is really a good investment for their companies. Thanks for dropping by Wolfechu! Happy mylotting!! ^^
