Yoga for back pain?

I have struggled with lower back pain for the last few years and have found no relief from chiropractors. I recently started a yoga class, hoping that it would help. I have felt some relief, but I am not sure if I should stick with it. Has anyone else had yoga help with back pain or other medical issues?

It depends on what caused your lower back pain. I have struggled with lower back pain too. Doctor said tthat It was because my lower back muscle is weak, so he told me to exercise that part with a yoga like teraphy. You should be sure first about what has caused that pain. You see, our back bones are connected with some kind of lubricating pillow. When we're older, this pillow will be reduced and cause the bones get closer and grazing. This can cause pain. If this is what happened to you, I suggest you stop your Yoga, for it will make it worse. Better have medical check first bro.

Yoga is great!!! Not only does it help relieve back/neck pain and migraines, but it also helps to relieve some of the stress that causes these things. Don't quit!! The longer you do yoga, the better the results. Just keep with it. I have been doing yoga for years and I absolutely love it!!
