Your two year old can and should be eating all the same foods you eat. Toddlers are known for being picky eaters, so try not to make a big deal out of it or try to push him too much. That will just lead to power struggles which he will always win since you can't force him to eat. He'll eat when he's hungry. Offer him a variety of foods. Let him have choices, from options you choose. For example, ask if he wants chicken or peanut butter and jelly for lunch. Also offer some fruit or vegetables at every meal. At least 2 or 3 foods at each meal means he'll be more likely to eat something. If he won't drink milk, you can offer him other sources of calcium- cheese, yogurt, broccoli, spinach or calcium fortified orange juice. Some suggestions for foods children usually like- pasta, chicken nuggets, cheese, fruit, raisins, cereal, oatmeal, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and jelly.
