And by unbelievable ,I dont mean wonderfully unbelievable ,just plain impossible.I know many person will advance the argument that movies are supposed to be an escape from reality and hence Steven Seagal movies are justified but they are an escape which will never take you back to reality. You will spend the rest of your life in fantasyland if you watch Steven's movies.I mean his stunts are good and he can fight but he somehow never gets beaten up not even temporarily in his karate type movies. He will take on a hundred men single handedly,at the same time and never get even a scratch. This is incredible. Its the same with his "gun movies" he might not be the fastest draw but he is always the straightest shooter ,someone may pull before him and he still ends up killing them even with his head turned to them. This is in sharp contrast to say a Bruce Willis or Mel Gibson movie ,these guy get beaten and bloodied ,yes they still get the bad guys irrespective of how many of them and they still perform some fantastic feats but they make it look real or semi real.Thats the best you can ask for some semblance of reality.Point in question look at Bruce Willis in the Die Hard movies, the poor guy was bloodied and beaten ,yet he managed to single handedly save the day and it looked real. As a result whenever I see a a Steven Seagal movie ,I just change the channel because I have seen it before and I know the ending even if I have never watched it.

I just love all those chop suey fighter movies! I do like Steven Seagal myself and in a one on one confrontation I would probably be turned into mashed potato! Some of his movies are probably unrealistic in that he never seems to get hurt or anything. However, I do like to escape and enter the world of fantasy from time to time. I don't see her around anymore but I liked watching Cynthia Rothrock in the past, my favourite movie with her in was China O Brian! Anyway, it's good to watch the occasion ahhhh saaaaaaa! Andrew

i do agree with you. i also hate his movies. not only they seem overly fictional and impossible but they are also way too brutal. there are those bone-wrecking stunts that are quite gruesome. and since my dad and my brother are very into his movies, every time they watch one, i usually go upstairs and do something worthwhile instead.
