Saffy was not a character in Eastenders.

In a previous post I said that I named my sheltie after a character from Eastenders. My friends in England reminded me that Saffy was a character in a series called AB FAB. She was the straight laced daughter of neurotic fashion designer (Jennifer Saunders) and her drunken friend (Joanna Lumley). WMy friends always felt that when their daughter was younger she viewed them through Saffy's eyes. So they nicknamed one of my friend's daughter as Saffy. Anyway now my wife thought about it as a suitable pet name for our sheltie.

Yes, thats right, the show is so funny and Saffy the dayghter is also very funny always having a go at her mother and her friend.

I dun understand about the whole thing.. lol =D All i know from here is that, saffy is not a character from Eastenders, but from AB FAB.. ANd what follows after that, i'm confused.. hehe ^_^ SO are u trying to say that, one of your fren's daughter is called SAffy too?? hehe =D But i think it's ok to share the same name too.. haha
