Corel or Photoshop?

I wanted to try graphics that's the reason why I wanted to learn any graphics software. I am thinking od where i should start, is it on Corel or Photoshop? What you think guys? Share me your opinion. Good Day!

Based on my experience, I would suggest Photoshop over Corel. Photoshop is more user friendly. You can easily learn using the software in a matter of time. Even the basic tools would do the work.

I am astonished that anyone would consider Photoshop friendlier than PaintShopPro! Even Elements is less obvious than the much more powerful PaintShop. Still, we all think differently...

Graphics as opposed to photo editing? Then Photoshop is not the choice: Adobe make specialised illustration software: Creative Suite CS4 icluding Illustrator, while Corel offer Graphics Suite X4, Corel Designer, Corel Painter and Painter Essentials. The other options from many, many manufacturers range from free, through cheap, via reasonable, to Adobe. What you choose depends on the kind of graphics you want to do.

I prefer photoshop over corel... its a friendly user, i learned photoshop in a week...

Photoshop for sure. You can do anything in Photoshop and easily. Corel is a little more specific and specialized.
