About a couple of months ago gas prices were 2x of what it is now. So with the price drop have you breath much easier? Are you beginning to move around more often? Is life a little better since then? I had pretty good with gas now at $2 or so per gallon. Your thoughts people.. Thanks and happy mylotting!!!

I am so glad to see gas prices finally down below $2 a gallon! The cheapest I have seen it in my neighborhood is $1.70 this afternoon. I drive a 2005 Pontiac Grand Am and it was to the point where it would cost me $45 to fill my tank from empty to full. That's ridiculous!! I usually never put that much in - I would put $20-25 in at a time and just make it last as long as I could. But now it costs, at most, $20 to fill my tank from empty to full. That's a HUGE difference! I love that I don't have to struggle to afford to put gas in my own car. But I'm not driving around any more than before. Everything is still up in price around me, not to mention my husband as been laid off from his job for over a month now. His company downsized and cut back on employees. I need to save every little bit I can that way we can continue to support our two children and still make our house payment. But I'm so glad to see that the gas prices have gone down, it's been a break on everyone's wallets and I know that most people now a days can use a break here and there!

Yeah, the difference is really something. When the price was at it's peak it takes $80 to fill my SUV to the full. Now it's down to $40 and I fill it up about twice a week. So I'm saving a few hudreds monthly. Happy mylotting!!

I breath just a little bit easier, that's about it. Everything else is still quite expensive. Yes, I like that I save $30+ on a fill up, but I spent the equivalent in higher prices in the store. The high prices forced me to greatly re-evaluate my driving habits and the adjustments I made I'm keeping them up. I still have to watch every penny I spend.
