On early Sunday morning something happened that change our lives dramatically. We had a house fire. I had posted on here before about how far are you from being homeless. We have hit it right on target. In mid October I had called our landlord because after I got a load of fuel oil for the house we could not get the furnace to work because the one part was obsolete. It would have to cost him $3,000 to buy a new one and so we had to use the fireplace to keep warm until Sunday morning. So, I know it is not my fault, but he told me that HE is mad at us for this and gave me $100 to help us out. Well that didn't go very far when your without boots or shoes and a change of clothes. I am going to call him today and tell him that come 11 am I tomorrow I will not have a place for my family. To add insult to injury, we have three dogs, a cat, and a lizard. We have found a place for the lizard and the cat, but we have the three dogs with us also. I was lucky that Red Cross has found a place for us with are pets.

wow what an upheaval, I have had small house fires but nothing that could not be put out in time before anything serious happened. If it was not your fault for the furnace that he has to pay, it is his building and his responsibility.

Hugs. Life is not all the time obstacles. After the rain we get to see the sunshine out of it. Just hang-on and hope for the best.
