why do you think Robert Plant is refusing to join Led Zeppelin's reunion tour? Do you think that the fans would still go to the concert without Plant? what if they find another lead singer with the or more qualities than him, just like what happened to Steve Perry of "Journey"? They found a new lead singer from YouTube, and he is spectacular. Do you think there's somebody out there that can equal or top Roert Plant?

Maybe Robert is refusing because of the band (incomplete without Bonham). I think that fans will come to the concert without Robert but not as much as before. If they'd find a new lead singer that's got qualities like Robert then probably people will come but not as much impact as what Robert would deliver to the audience.

Robert Plant is the smartest man in the group. These guys were great...in 1974. This is 2008, almost 2009. He knows that they can't sound like they did 30+ years ago. No one can. So why leave fans with a bitter-sweet experience. Jimmy and John and Jason can do their solo gigs or sit in on other bands. But I don't think that they will pursue an exploration for a Plant replacement. It WON'T happen.

There may be equals, or even toppers, but it wont be Led Zeppelin. I cant figure why Percy would not want to do an album and tour with the old boys and Jason on drum. He is busy with the country girl...guess she has him whipped? Maybe he just fell in love with the mellower music, and enjoys the genre. I would go to the concert - unless they toured under the name: "Led Zeppelin" - that would be wrong and I would not support that - yet they will ALWAYS be my favorite band!

I love Led Zeppelin and couldn't imagine them without Robert Plant. It just doesn't seem right..but hey other bands have done it...still can't see it happening. I wonder why he didn't join? Strange.
