will you concell the fixed telephone at home?

the price of cellphone calling is going down at a low rate.but the charge of the fixed telephone at home of China Telecom is so high,the monthly rent is 18 yuan without any calling.As a result ,i am considering concell the fixed telephone as it is useless for me that i nearly have any call or receive any call.for me ,a cellphone is just enough.it is unnecessary to waste money like this.

Hi! I also cancelled our landline, and don't intend to get another connection in the near future. The fixed monthly fee takes a big chunk off the monthly expense budget. You are right, a cellphone is enough. Every member of the family owns one, so the landline telephone has become more of a burden especially since it is used only for personal calls. We already have adequate means of communication through cell phones and web email.
