Cookin a Chicken for thanksgiving

Ok, Its thanks giveing. I don't cook, It is 8:30am I havent gone shopping yet. My wife gets off of work at 7:30PM. Do I have time to go buy a chicken and roads it? Or should I cheat and get a bag chickin. And if I do have time, how do I go about doing it. Anyone have recepies?
