How do you add friends on ciao?

Someone on mylot asked to add as friend on ciao. I just joined that a few days ago. I clicked friends. I got you have no friends added. I'm thinking, I know! I'm trying to do that. I tried a couple of things but it didn't work. Could someone tell me how to do that? Thanks. I'm going to go eat breakfast, then I'll comeback and check my resposes. If adding friends can help all of us make money, I'm all for it.
