my pride

If there is one thing that I am really proud of in my life--it is having 2 wonderful and adorable children. I just love them and they are my life:) I can't imagine what my life would have been if I hadn't had them. That's the reason why I decided to be a full time stay at home and hands-on mom to them. I just feel that it is my responsibility to raise them and take care of them. I had a full time career before I had my eldest. Though I never really planned to stopped working before he was born, the moment I saw him at the hospital I just can't imagine leaving him to somebody else's care. It was hard for me at first because I was so used to being independent and having my own money. My husband has to be the sole bred-winner and I have to be a full time stay at home mom. It was such a nice thing to be able to stay home with my children and never miss a milestone in their life, but then again, it was really hard to live in a single income household. I miss earning.. But I know it's worth it. My kids are worth it. My wish right now is that I'll be able to search for more online sites that will give me a chance to earn without leaving my kids. They are older now, more independent but they still need me nearby to guide them, therefore I should keep on being a stay at home mom:)

Hi, LetterWriter. I made the same decision you did, to stay home and be full time, hands on mommy. I am blessed to have had my child a little later than normal and the financial aspect of the decision was never even a consideration. I also feel blessed that I had many years at my career so I feel like I had the best of both worlds! I hope you find what you are looking for in the way of making money online. From my experience there seems to be many opportunities but they all require a great deal of time and offer little return. But it is very possible I never found the right route.

Hi, Makingpots:) Well, your lucky that the financial aspect of parenting is never an issue for you. A lot of my friends wish to be able able to stay home with their kids but their finances are the hindrance to make that decision. Actually, I'm one of the few lucky ones who can have the chance [and luxury] to stay at home with my kids. We are not that financially stable but my husband is very responsible and he supports my decision to stay at home with the kids. And I'm thankful of that:) We are both young when we had kids, still starting our careers. But I don't regret anything though. I believe that we just have to be willing to work [and make a few sacrifices] and things will work out for the best. Actually, I've seen some good sites. It's not much though but it is still something. It helps with the bills and provides me some independence. I just have to search more, I guess:) Maybe the reason why you "never found the right route" is because it is not a necessity for you:) Happy motherhood to you!
