If you have moved to this new land, try learning the language. That will help you a lot. You might also want to get a map of the city your living in, so you can learn your way around. I have a friend from another state. The first thing she did after moving was to drive around the city to become familiar with it. You might also check the phone book to see if there are any organizations that help foreigners adjust to their new home.

Well, New place is just like new chapter of your life. Now and then you will learn to have new friends and new environment. Later you will adapt the lifestyle of the new place. During young, I always move around and get adapt with the new atmosphere. The world is getting smaller too. There is always telephone and internet that can connect you with old friends. Hope you won't be sad in new land. Explore the new life, new chapter of your life.

I can relate to your predicament. I am in Hungary. Language is the biggest problem aside from the culture. All I can say is, I can't wait to get out of here.:P We plan to go back to my country in 2-3 years. Hopefully, everything will go according to plan.

I'm in the foreign land right now and it is really hard for me to adjust in the climate in these land. It also make me hard to adjust to the people surrounds me because they cannot understand English clearly. and i can't understand their language too unless they speak English to me.
