What do you think about Windows and Linux?

My vote is for Linux. Its good to play with Linux. Linux is more safe to virus attacks compared to windows as they don't have any registry. I think its very safe and secure besides being free of cost. Try Ubuntu, you will find it easy to install and all the applications is easily available in the net along with documentation. Why pay for something (windows) when you have pretty good options for free. Other main thing is the difference in startup and shutdown time with Linux being much faster.
