I think maybe when you graduate from college, or maybe when you have had a job,you can live independently.Earlierly, when you are a student of college, you also can live independently.Because when I am in the university,a lot of my classmate had lived independently.Since they entered the university, they never take any money from their parents. They all had part-time job in their free time. The money from the part-time job was enough for them to live.

I moved out of my grandmothers house when I was 17. However, I had been working full time while attending high school since I was 15. I bought all my own clothes and anything extra that I wanted like my class ring. In my opinion people should live on their own when they are mature enough to do it. With the state of today's economy though more and more families are having to stay together and pool their resources to be able to survive.

In the US the age of majority legally (when you are considered an adult in the eyes of the law) is 18. However, I lived at home until I was 25.

i think the age should be at least 21 because until then the children are not mature enough . and then also parents has to support them some time until child starts earning good money.
