I have a few favorite parenting books and web sites. They are really helpful for parents of kids of all ages. 1. Dr. Melanie Bazarte www.pareinging101.net/about.html She is an author and parenting educator I have know and worked with for years. she has by far on of the most pratical series of parenting and dicipline books I have ever found. she talks about what to do, what not to do, why kids act certian ways, and you dont have to read ten chpters to get the point. she has great books about rasing teens, building healthy self esteem in kids and a book devoted to dicipline. She has been on many TV shows, and leacture through the world. go check out her site. 2. Dr William and Martha Sears www.askdrsears.com Dr. Sears is a Famous Peditrition who along with his wife have written many books on everyhting form pregnany, birth, breastfeeding to teens. at his web site ou can actually ask him questions and he will answer! He has written the Baby Book, The Birth Book, and so many others. He is and advocate of attachemet pareting, gental dicipline and give practical advice on every thing related to children, birthing and pareting. 3. Jay MaGraw (Dr Phil's Son) has a wonderful books about pareting teens and some written just for teens Two of my sons favorites are called "Life Stratigies for Teens" and "Closing The Gap" you can find out more about these at www.drphilstore.com What are your favorites and why?
