Do you earn money...?

Actually I have no idea... I was never told anything about earning money for searching! But I know Microsoft is getting so desperate that they are willing to pay you to search if you buy from their sponcers.

i personally havent been paid by one of these searching companies but i know someone who uses the one that you talk about (my home page or w/e its called). I use to use it but they cancelled all my money because of repeat searches with their flawed bookmark section. I have a new one which pays you, and you can add a comment about the website which gives you more money and if you rate the website you also earn money. Add me as a friend if you want the link.
