realist or idealist

well,it seems like i have many questions today.this is the third question i present.im thinking of my future job and family a lot these days.i dont know whether im a realist or idealist.i have many thoughts about my future life,but i find it impossible to realize.im so ambivalent about this.so do you think its better to be a realist or an idealist?
