Is 2 km walking per day enough?

I go out walking for 2 km every morning. It's not in my fitness plan but it's just a way to get fresh air for the day. Now, I'm thinking-- maybe I can walk longer distance and increase the pace so that it will make some difference? Do you walk for a fixed distance everyday or regularly? How long do you think is enough for a day?

hiii it depends upon ur weight n health...only 2 km walking is ok if ur older person ..i mean to say above 60 ..if u r young then u need to do some other excercise also yoga...running jogging 10 -15 minutes also gud.

LOL, I'm not that old. It's just that there's park beside my home, walking around the park for one cycle is 2 km, so I got used to that distance. If I do more, I'll have to repeat the place.
