If you want NON-Mainstream, check out my website iLike2Rock.net I currently have over 150 artists on the site. If you like hard rock, metal, check out some of these bands on my site. FEFF, The Last Act, Shadows Lie, and Skintilla, of course there are more than that, but thats just some off the top of my head. You can browse by genre. Keep Rockin!

I run a music social network, band promotions, internet radio station to help promote unsigned artists. I also work with video, create podcasts, contests and other promos to help them build a listening audience. - Keep Rockin!

I'll be sure to check it out. Do you own some kind of record label or something if so thats really awesome. I'm a pretty big fan of hard rock but I'm also kind of picky sometimes. I'll see what your website has to offer. Thanks for the response.

Here are some of the metal bands you might like His Infernal Majest or H.I.M., Diecast, Jerry Cantrell, Skold, Type O Negative, Nevermore. There are lots of them actually. Just too many to name them all. I like Tool also. They're great bands with cool cd packaging too!

Thanks for your opinion I've listened to Type O Negative before and didn't really like them. I will definitely check the others though. If you like Tool's album artwork then you should check out Alex Grey he's the artist that does most of the Tool albums and his own artwork is incredible. www.alexgrey.com

Well, my personal favorite, it's more 90's grunge, but I love it, is Alice in Chains..I will never tire of listening to them, although I do listen to tool and A perfect circle.

Yeah they're pretty good but they're not really what I'm looking for.

If you like Maiden, there is a band called Black Tide that are pretty amazing. They are unbeleivably young - the lead singer was only 13 when they got signed to Interscope two years ago - but they are awesome. They were on this year's Mayhem Tour. I highly recommend you checking them out, as well as Slipknot's new album, and Disturbed if you are not currently listening to them. :)

I've listened to Maiden, Slipknot, and Disturbed and I have to say I'm not a fan. Their music just kind of sucks compared to other bands and I know that there is much better metal music out there that isn't aimed directly at audiences so the band can make it mainstream.
