can you or do you ever post the same post in two or more catigories?

I cannot find any rule about this so if anyone knows of any, please direct me so I can read up on this. also, have you ever posted the same or very similar post if it applied to more than one catigory? what would the pros and cons be in your opinion? I dont want to break any rules, but it seems if it is relevent, it should be allowed, thus reaching more people. Any thoughts?

Actually i dont post same post in different categories.Aside from the fact that it is in the rules, I think it will not be helpful. members who are interested will just respond once its either the other discussion will have no response and the other full of responses. just a thought
