I read many different kinds of books. I like to read novels and short stories as well as poetry. I also read books about psychology and similar topics. I have read many spiritual books and one of my favourite authors is Wayne Dyer. You mentioned "Communications with God" I know that book, I bought it some time ago, and I really liked it. I might read it again in the future. What do you think about the book?

Hello Porcospino .. I really do like it .. I saw the movie but the movie only talks about his life and how he got to the point where he started listening to god ... It spurred my interest in what he asked God and how God responded .. I am very open to this concept because I have for many years believed God to be like this ... not how we have perceived him for so long? So, it goes exactly along the same train of thought i have had for many years ... it just was not accepted by the church. And still isnt by the Church but many are coming into this new idea of god being a loving god not one who punishes when you did wrong and rewards you when you've been good ..etc etc etc ... It goes along with the ideas in The Secret as well ... it all makes so much more sense ... then what i precevied when i use to go to church and what they were telling me .. that just didnt ring true to me ..too much guilty and fear seemed to be in that realm of belief... and they were all walking in it ... so i eventually left the church ... So how bout you ... what did you think of the book ... if you disagree with me its ok ... i dont get mad or try to argue the point ... its all in what you want to believe ... and its all good ... thanks so much for stopping by ... and sharing your response ... later ..

What I remember most about the book was the feeling that I couldn't put it down, I just kept reading and it all made a lot of sense to me. I felt like I had been given "the missing pieces of the puzzle" and I had a feeling of intense happiness. I felt the same way about "The secret" but it is really hard to describe.

I love to read, and once in a while, I do read poetry. Poetry is not my most favorite reading form; I prefer fictional prose, more than anything else. It's good that you found a means to express your inner artist by producing poetry. Keep doing what you are doing. Although, I'm not into any kind of writing that is religious. Just can't stand those things.
