Any comments about Twilight, the movie?

Anyone seen the movie Twilight? Is it any good? Does the movie compare to the book? I haven't watch the movie version but I read the Twilight series, I will love to watch it, I just hope that the events in the book are all in the movie. If you're a book series lover, watching your beloved novel turn into a mediocre movie is kinda infuriating. Any comments about the movie, anything goes people, spoilers allowed.

Oh my. I saw it with two of my friends and it was actually quite hilarious, though I'm sure the 60 or so 12 year girls in there didn't think so. I love the part where Bella walks into the classroom and as she goes past the classroom fan it goes into slow motion, then switches to Edward looking at her. I think they were trying to make it look romantic, like they instantly connected but I was too busy laughing at the fan. Couldn't it have been a gust of wind coming from an open window? Of course not, it had to be from some $13 from IKEA.

IKEA could be an sponsor of the movie then? I had watched Twilight already, thankfully after months of ignorance. I confess, as I haven't read the book, I have no means of comparison so i just take the movie in. Personally, I don't think Robert Pattinson is much of a hunk, sorry, I just have to put it in *grins* but he and Kristen Stewart had an amazing chemistry, I love their love story. If I am a little younger, I would have been one of the million fans worldwide waiting for the sequel - Eclipse.

I like the movie but I haven't read the novel of Stephenie Meyer so I wouldn't know where you're coming from. I would just have to take your word for it until I grab a copy of the book, better yet, if you're done reading already, you can lend it to me *grins*.
