My mom was working at her office when she walked out and saw a lady holding a dog and it had a rope coller, He was saved from getting hit on the highway, He is a very good puppy he has learned fast in potty training and he knows some tricks. He loves to run, very often i take him running, Have you ever saved your dog? What type of dog do you have?

All of our dogs and cats were either rescued from a shelter or somewhere. We don't have any dogs right now, but our latest cat, Oreo adopted us. He was drinking from our pool and limping and very skinny. And the sweetest cat in the world. Somebody had to have abandoned him.

I am a cat person myself but i love dogs and I have often thought of rescueing one from the shelter but it is the toilet training part that i think i always think as a hard thing with dogs..but it sounds like that little dog may have found a good home, i like to hear happy stories..

The potty training isnt hard, you just have to stay on the dog about it. The best thing to do when they go in the house is give them a really slow low tone and take them out. I also volunteer and a no kill shelter, its non profit too

All the dogs I have had were rescued in one way or another. I think they are so grateful for a home that most of them are really good dogs and well behaved. I think it is a really good thing to do!! I have rescued cats for 25years soI am a rescuer at heart.
