Do you know where John Cougar Mellencamp is from?

Yeah Seymour, Indiana. I was born in Vincennes, Indiana in 1974, and the rumor I always heard, was that he attended Vincennes University around that same time. Also, another rumor that I have heard about Mellencamp that is pretty funny, my wife's high school biology teacher went to high school with Mellencamp, and they were not friends. Actually, her teacher got in a fist fight with Mellencamp and beat him up pretty bad. Mellencamp has been one of my favorites for a long time.
