friendship or no friendship

Friendship is a word that describes people who like each other and would help one another and keep secrets with and do things together.How do u define friendship? Friendship is a real hard thing to find sometimes. I would like to have friends, but i dont think i can handle having to many friends cuz they tend to talk some bs about u and put u down. I have been more of a loner and truthfully like it that way, that way u dont get hurt by anyone. Can anyone understand how friendship is suppose to work?
