How will you react when your kid tell you how she wished you were not her mom

Growing up kids pick up a lot of things both good and bad most of the time from their environment or from their peers when they start to socialize. No matter how hard you try to teach them what's best they would be like sponge absorbing positive and negative traits alike. "Values are caught not taught" so they say. Sometimes children throw their fits especially when they are tired or hungry. When one day you hear your kid says how she wished you were not her mom or dad how will you react?

i did have heard of this kinda words from one of my cousins...she just complained that her poor parents and wish if only she would be born in a wealthy family...but i will never say that words to mine..even if just being kidding...i would be sad if my kid do thay to me...i believe that parents have give birth to us and that's best gift of whole life..if we want something, we could only rely on ourself...

Do you know how many times growing up I told my mother those very words? Did I mean it? Absolutely not. I was just a mad kid throwing her tantrum. If my child ever does it some day I will look to it as nothing more then that. A kid throwing a fit and saying words out of anger.
