I can't, I feel very hungry if I eat less food. But if we eat more food at the berekfast and lunch, eat less food at supper, and sleep later. We will not get fatter and fatter. If you didn't feel hungry ,eat less food. You will lose some weight.

Hello, snpyvin. I can stop myself from eating. I can control my habits. It is all inside your head, Mister. Try to tell yourself that eating and eating is not good at all. Put some bubble gum in your mouth and then you will not be able to eat without throwing it away. It will help you. Have a pack of bubble gum near, so you will always be munching it around instead of swallowing food. And reduce the number of juicy things in your fridge, so that you don't have much to eat. By doing this, you will also save some money, hehehe. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

There are days that I can eat the whole day, everything, and I'm still hungry. And I need sweets. Other days, I eat a little bit and even with that little bit I feel full. Usually, when I have a problem to solve or feel sick, I eat just a little bit to keep me going. So I can finally understand why there are days that I barely put something in my mouth. See, it took this respond, for me to realize my habbits. Thank you.

I will admit that your habit is not a good one. We all know that too little and too much of everything is bad. You must know how to discipline yourself before it causes harmful side effects.I can say that while moderate fasting clears and lifts our spirit and mind, it is obvious that habitual, greedy and voracious eating and drinking dulls the mind, slows down any spiritual activity and abuse in one's health. And we can say from the word itself "abuse", that it is somehow bad. It is bad because it affects the body in a very negative way. Indeed, this one is sinful also. Different from the old Greek Philosopher Plato who called the body "the prison of the soul," for us Christians, the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, given by God?" (I Corinthians 6:19) Therefore, any abuse of the body, anything that harms our bodies is wrong and sinful. If no harm is done, we are free to enjoy all the good things God has given us. It would be good to check ourselves, our attitudes toward eating foods and toward drinking as well. In our country in which I am living, where in Mindanao and many other places people are dying of hunger, this attitude is an even greater sin than in countries where nobody goes hungry. When the motto of your life is not "I eat to live" but "I live to eat," you are a strong candidate for gluttony. When you detect, therefore, a strong craving for food, be alert. When you cannot think of anything, without including food, be careful. When you feel tempted at a buffet to load your plate with more food than you can possibly eat, then I can say that gluttony is lurking in the corner.

It just sounds like you have a love affair with food. This isn't a criticism--I love food too. I find the best thing to do is to try not to keep junk in the house. Keep the cupboards full of things that if you did eat them often you wouldn't suffer too badly from it---popcorn, rice cakes, fruits. It also sounds like you may also have an oral fixation--the need to have something in your mouth at all times. For this try chewing gum. I eat lots of sugar free popsicles and I drink water with ice in it. This way I get the satisfaction of chewing without adding calories. It also helps to know what drives you to eat. If its boredom, then try to find engaging activities to occupy yourself. If it is stress you may want to take up some sort of exercise class or yoga, or even go for a walk/jog. The love of food is a common problem, but hopefully some of this advice can help.

Yes, I can stop myself from eating especially if i don't like the food.. But most of the time I keep on eating plenty of food especially if I'm just at home doing nothing.. I always feel hungry even I just ate 10 minutes ago.. My friends are always teasing me as "pig" because I always keep on eating but luckily even I eat so many foods (any kinds of food) I don't get fat.. If ever I'll get fat its so easy for me to lost weight for a few days.. I just really don't know how can i do that but its true.. Actually, its so difficult for me to get fat than to get thin.. Maybe, theres something wrong with my body..
