Do you respond to topics that friends have started on MyLot?

One of the first things I do is respond to topics that my MyLot friends have started. When I have responded to all the interesting topics from that section, I move onto todays top discussions and then if I have time (or am not too tired!!) I have a look through 'hot'.
How about you? Do you bother to even look at discussions your friends have started? I think that we should all make an effort to look through our friends discussions and respond if we find the discussion interesting. This is because, otherwise, why even bother having 'friends' on here??

yes i do.. i have this habit of checking out for my friends' discussions then look for ones that i can participate in.. i usually respond to discussions that are interesting like relationships, personal experiences, movies, food and music to name some..

It all depends on how the topic is ? people dont like to answer just for sake of money , some matter should be there . I start boring topics and no one responds , now I have stopped starting and only respond to discussions i like , many a times of my friends too.

Even I do that. I try t do justice to all of my friends' discussions. Sometimes I miss for they get hidden in hordes of other discussions. Later on when I find them I do try to respond. I think, that's the essence of making friends here. If we do not respond to theirs what use it serves! Then I go to DISCUSSIONS WITH NO RESPONSES and then I visit other categories if and when I have time.

It is certainly something that I do. it's not always the first thing i do, but during the course of the day, i will go see what my mylot friends have started and see what they're about. at times, I even look at the discussions in which they have participated in.

Yeah, I do. But they're like any other discussions on here though. If I have something to say, I'll post. If not, I won't.

I do respond to discussions my friend start ,its just that I don’t have a system in place in terms of chronological order .I often check what my friends have started first but then there are times when I check a particular interest area first .Sometimes I also check the hot discussions but rarely ,I like to go for discussions that have been forgotten sometimes

Yeah, I really do find it a habit to look on some discussions that my friends have started here in this site and if I could share an opinion or two, I would really go and participate in them. Especially when they happen to have sent a friend invite, aside from accepting their invites, I often thanks them through commenting at their profiles whenever possible and browse through their discussions (^_^ )

Hi UK_shree. I do respond to my friends' discussion. Thats the first thing I do when I log in to my lot. I actually I turned on my notification so I would know when my friends started a new thread. You're right in there we have to make an effort of checking our friends, its a good way to build solid network here in mylot. When Im done with responding to friends' discussion that catch my interest I then proceed to discussion on my interests. If I have time I checked also today's top discussions. Happy mylotting!!

I always go to friends started first. Then I go on to my interests. If I have time I will then go on to no response. I go back a few pages on there so that I can answer some older discussions where people might have given up on getting an answer. I like to think that I am cheering someone up. I would like someone to do the same for me if I had a discussion with no responses.

I do the same thing - I go back a few pages. I even have responded to some discussions that were active four months ago! If something interests me, nothing will stop me from responding!! I often go to 'new user' so that people who have just joined feel encouraged to be active.
I think we should be friends!

Hello Uk_Shree! I also prioritize to answer to my friends discussion before answering to anyone's discussion. I think it's just fair. But honestly, I only have chosen friends where I really answer their discussion everytime they have one. Those are the friends who were active in answering my discussions too so I turn on the notification.

Well,it's not always necessarily that I make responses only because my friend is the one who make that discussions. I still consider my knowledge about the topic which I am going to respond.I seriously make it to the point that I made my responses seriously,that I have the knowledge to that specific topic so that those members here in mylot can learn someting out of that response.
It's doesnt matter for me if a close friend made that discussion, what I am considering is how good I am to answer that discussion.Happy mylotting!

You're right! Most of the time I had to read at my friends started discussions first, if I can think of something to say then I respond it, but most of the time I had to read the whole discussions first and end up not putting any response to it because the thing that is in my mind was written already by somebody so that means that I agree with it and I try not to write it again, otherwise it might look like I am just copying on her.
It's really good to respond a friend's discussion first before going to anything else it helps the earnings too.
